President and Founder of Vox Bivium
Josh founded Vox Bivium in 2015. Prior to that, he spent the last 13 years in pastoral ministry - most recently as the campus pastor for Grace Church Downtown (Greenville, SC). In addition, he has served as the school chaplain for Shannon Forest Christian School and taught at various other institutions. (High school, undergrad, and graduate school) He holds a BA in Biblical Studies with minor in Philosophy from Palm Beach Atlantic University as well as a MA in Biblical Teaching from Erskine.
He serves as a Guest Lecturer at: Torchbearers in Winter Park, CO, and Onelife in Lancaster, PA, currently. He has taught at Shannon Forest and for Southeastern Seminary through the Renewal Leadership Institute (2011-2012).
He planted a church in Orlando FL. called Summit. He has owned and operated with a partner, both a real estate investment company (High Water Mark 2002 - 2007) as well as a strength and conditioning consulting company (Upstate Elite Fitness 2011-2013).
He grew up in Racine WI.
Leanne has a BS in education from the University of West Georgia. She taught elementary students for 6 years in Gwinnett Co. Georgia. She served on staff at Look Up Lodge to gain 18 years experience in Christian camping and discipleship of young women.
Operations and Recruiting
Seth came to Vox Bivium after spending the previous five years in the healthcare supply chain industry. He is originally from the upper Midwest, living in both Iowa and Minnesota before moving to South Carolina in 2014. Immediately after high school, Seth participated in a Christian gap year program in Texas. He then attended the University of Minnesota where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business and Marketing Education. He is passionate about helping young people better follow Jesus and helping them find clarity around what God has crafted them to do with their lives. He joined the Vox team in 2017 to be a key contributor to both discipleship, operations, and recruiting.
Seth and his wife Shea live in Greenville, South Carolina (just down the road from Vox Bivium). He loves playing ultimate Frisbee, going to the movies, attending performing arts events, and adventuring anywhere outside. He is an avid sports fan and loves watching his beloved Golden Gophers and Green Bay Packers.
Student Life Coordinator
Liz is initially from Sacramento, CA, but grew up in Greenville, SC. She has a BA in Studio Arts with a concentration in Education from Anderson University. Liz taught middle and high school art at Shannon Forest Christian School for three years before moving to Africa to teach 6th grade as well as middle school art at American Christian Academy in Ibadan, Nigeria. After returning to the United States, Liz worked in Charleston for a year before joining the VoX team in August 2015.
Dean of Students
Jeff moved with his wife, Clarissa, and four children from Orlando, Florida, to join the Vox Bivium team in the summer of 2018. He spent 13 years at Orangewood Christian School as both a teacher of Biblical Studies and the Head of Spiritual Life Development. He also coached their varsity soccer team to win one State Championship, along with seven Regional Championships. He took a leadership role with his church, NewCity Orlando, as the “Mercy Ministry Liaison” connecting church members with opportunities to do justice in the city. His family also spent two years serving with NewCity Parramore Ave., an inner-city church plant.
Jeff grew up mainly in Central Florida and spent most summers in South America on mission trips. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Liberty University, he played professional soccer for seven years in Charlotte, Wilmington (NC), and Myrtle Beach. Jeff was greatly impacted during experiences with Torchbearers International, which included an outdoor adventure program in New Zealand and a gap year Bible school in Sweden. These experiences fueled the fire for him to eventually make the move to join the ministry of Vox Bivium.
Jeff’s two passions are mentoring/discipleship and “livening up” the church towards doing justice.
Academic Director of The River
Brian serves as the Academic Director and an instructor for The River. Brian has a Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Talbot Seminary and pursued additional doctoral-level course work in theology, obtaining a second Master’s Degree in Theology from Regent University. He has pastored in both large and small churches, served in leadership roles in two church plants, and
served as a lead researcher/teacher for the Christian Research Institute and for Walk Thru the Bible.
Summit Church, Campus Pastor Simpsonville and Teaching Team
Nathan is currently a Campus Pastor with Summit Church in Simpsonville, SC. After receiving his B.S. in Bible and Bible Teaching from Columbia International University, he worked as a Bible Teacher for Southside Christian School before moving with his wife Emily to Shenyang, China. After four years of teaching the Bible in a variety of settings, Nathan returned to Greenville, SC, to work again with Southside Christian for three years before being asked by Summit Church to work as a campus pastor for their Simpsonville church plant.
Look Up Lodge Christian Camp, Staff Director
Walter had his BS in counseling from Presbyterian College and his Masters in Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. He has served on the LUL team for 11 years. Walter is an expert in facilitating team initiatives.
Admission Coordinator - Southern Wesleyan University
Chelsea is originally from Southeastern Michigan and is an avid Detroit sports fan. After graduating from Cedarville University with a degree in Communication, She attended Liberty University to pursue her Masters in Strategic Communication.
During her time at LU, she had the opportunity to teach Freshman Speech multiple semesters. While working through her second year of grad school, she also worked at a gap year program in Pennsylvania. Upon graduation in 2015, Chelsea moved to Greenville, SC to be near her now husband, Marc. Before settling into higher education, Chelsea worked at a marketing agency.
She currently works at Southern Wesleyan University as an Admission Coordinator for adult students.
Chief Executive Officer of King Consulting
Mark is a graduate of Charleston Southern and Southeastern Theological Seminary. He now owns his own financial business lending his expertise to small businesses in the area of finance.
